- You answer most of your own questions:
- You don't stand near minions in the front.
- You seek to reduce your range to her so that she can't do max range.
- You expect the E and have some way to make it miss..... either by being far enough away to dodge it, or by using a Flash, or something in your kit, and then you destroy her on cooldown.
- You build some way to reduce the efficiency of her skills, like
on the expectation that she will lane.
- You take Sorcery's Nullifying Orb, or
or both.
Zoe's stupidly easy if your entire game plan doesn't consist of: "I'm going to hope and pray E doesn't hit"
I mean, I can solo Zoe on the lowest HP champ in the game
; She has no direct ways to stop Zoe, but she sure as heck can out trade her;
just brutalizes Zoe. If she E's you successfully, you pop Seraph's Barrier. Once you're away again, you bubble her, W her, heal yourself, and try to make the next E miss. She'll hit you with a couple lich bane procs but by the time she can set up another Paddle 1) you're close to her and 2) your heal is back up. Takes 2-3 skill trades but Nami will throw Zoe in the grave.
Most champs have much higher HP options, and ways to stick on her like glue if she tries to R. And if they have Nullifying orb or some Tenacity, the Sleep just doesn't carry her.
Most mids can full clear a wave with a single skill. Half a wave isn't impressive.
I've literally only met ONE Zoe who gave me trouble and she was a svengali who didn't rely on Q to kill. She set up angles where even when warded you couldn't see her and when you tried to round terrain, she didn't sleep; She R'd a blind spot, auto attacked, put you low, and then followed up with an already cast Q after you were panicking about the lich bane proc you just took. I ended up winning that game as Nami, but omfg.... she tilted me something fierce with the angles.
Any other Zoe..... I've pretty much shut down to irrelevant. I've had teams who tight fight who have fed Zoe, but that's the nature of any artillery champ. If you group tight, expect to be nuked.
Btw, her win rate has NEVER been above 50%.
Her win rate is currently 49.53%, and when she was released it was a mere 34%. For all her bluster of being a 1 hit goddess, she dies a heck of a lot, and usually is really weak at everything except single target sniping or tight knit sniping (her Q is about the same size as Nami's bubble)
She's too easy to predict. if you can't 1v1 her as
, I'd feel sorry for you. Burn her E, Flash in to where no matter where she goes, her R is within your R, and Ult her, W her, and then when Ult is almost out/she burns her R, you Q her at point blank and then W her again. One of the easiest kills in the game. She literally cannot fight that response.
The closer you are to her, the safer, unless you take a E.
