Does Zed need skill?

Zed isn't like
where you can get stomped in lane but still come back for a penta later in the match. A little exaggerated, but you know what I mean. Anyway, I can do okay with Zed but I'm not that good tbh. I haven't got a hold of his potential as easy as I did with say
or
. In short, yes Zed takes skill.
This is in my opinion. Playing Zed at an average level isn't the hardest thing to do, but still takes some skill. Mastering him however is actually REALLY hard and bronze people might think otherwise. You need to know where to put your shadow, how to use your shadows, and if you should ult or not. Overall I find him really hard. The people that vote no are most likely under level 30, bronze, or low silver.
I've never played Zed but I've played a lot against him and can honestly say he takes some skill. I main Ziggs off and on and Zed/Leblanc were my hard counters but found I could easily pub stomp more than half while a few just beat me silly.
Yes he takes skill, the last few games i've played with zed in particular were very unrewarding relative to if I played any other champion. There's a lot of what's core on champions in general such as decision making and zed core mechanics which you must understand how to utilize properly otherwise competent players will punish you.
watching silver and gold league zed players is the most hilarious thing
His skill floor is basically zero. Pretty sure I could train a hamster to do well with him. That said, he has a lot of little intricacies you can learn to edge ahead a bit.
Zed is impossible to lose with in lane. And 1v1 in general.
As a zed main, I would argue that zed has a low skill floor, meaning that it takes a little experience to play decently w/ him. However, zed has a high skill cap, meaning that to unlock zeds full potential requires skill. For example, using the w e q combo and using ult would require little skill. On the contrary, using ult, w, switch w/ w shadow, e , q, and switching back with ult shadow, also known as a fancy trick/ outplay, would require a fair amount of skill.
