Concerning targeted stuns/crowd controls

I am curious why it is okay for certain champions to still have targeted stun mechanics even though it was deemed too strong on champions like sion on taric. How does it make sense for ryze to still have a targeted bind if targeted stuns are too strong? Isn't it infact even stronger on ryze due to the amount of burst dps he deals? I would love to hear a rational argument as to why it is okay for ryze to have a targeted cc, but not okay for taric, even though ryze deals 10 times the damage that taric does, and is infact a carry.

ryze is a tumor to this game but Riot considers his snare """"""'iconic""""""" so we'll never see it as anything but a no-aim root that lets him guarantee another rotation of spells to make sure you die

honorable mention to Alistar who people tolerate because despite his point click malphite ult, he's a support and doesn't do much on his own with the meta build. I sure am glad riot buffed an already top-tier champion with even more CC after he outplays you with his highly skill-intensive WQ, and making his heal free. let's ignore TahmKench Lulu the supports that are currently bad; Alistar looks way cooler in pro play than they do.

we need MORE targeted CC as a means to counteract all the mobility creep going on

name the last champ released not to have mobility?

out of the last 15 newly released champs Ivern, kled, tal, AS, Jhin, Illaoi, kindred, Kench, Ekko, Bard, Rek sai, kalista, Azir, Gnar, braum

the only ones without some type of mobility are....

thats right, you guessed it, 1/15 new champs have 0 mobility.

ps the 16th is vel koz, no mobility :)

17th is yasuo...

(leading us back to patch 5.4 where riot just had to put a stop to veigar support and put power back into kalista their new hyper mobile adc, couldn't let an instant cage ruin her fun, or outright stun her, despite it being a skill shot) ((oh whats that, naut/leona/braum bot constantly? better make them cry themselves to sleep, lets make them unable to heal, goodbye regen, hello new damage masteries, just go ahead and force them out. hello super damage ranged sups in the bot lane))
