Yasuo Is Honestly Weak

First hear me out before your raging.

I did write out a long post but instead im just going to say this:

Let me ask you a simple Question:

What does Yasuo actually offer to a team? that another champion doesn't do massively better?

Damage? - Almost any ADC does more damage from a safer distance CC? - Nope, any Tank is better Split Push? - Many other melee champions do it better and safer Assassinations? - Nope, not enough burst Safety? - Nope, no escape and little survivability. Team Fight? - Combo's well but many other champions are still far better

Honestly the thing Yasuo offers the most and it what people hate about him is his Wind Wall (WW)

Otherwise almost any other champion does any of the above better and safer than Yasuo by a mile.

If i asked you to say:

What is Yasuo's team comp identity,

What would most of you say? - Team Fight / Combo

But honestly tell me there arn't champions that are far, far better than a Yasuo for that.

Yasuo is picked because he is fun to play and is really cool as a concept and theme, but honestly when you think about it he doesn't actually offer anything to a team that someone else doesn't do far, far better than him.

Just because he doesn't do any particular thing as well as another champion can doesn't make him weak. An ADC can obviously deal damage while being in a much safer position, but do they have Yasuo's utility or CC? Malphite has much better engage, but does he have Yasuo's DPS? It's because those champions are specialized in those particular areas.

Of course he isn't as strong as some people make him out to be, but your argument that he is weak because he doesn't do a particlar thing as well as another champion doesn't really hold.

lol...go watch utube vids and come back showing him 1v3 against a team with full health and walking out alive with a triple kill.

he has one of the hardest midgame powerspikes in league of legends. Due to having double crit from items, once you get IE + Shiv you can one shot most people in the game for about 10min.

Also you were wondering why he doesnt have the same burst as other champs. This is because He has sustained burst instead of Mandingo bust your whole nut at once and run away while you recharge.

Yasuo is a Skirmishing assassin. That is his place. And he is actually very strong at doing that.

Damage? - Almost any ADC does more damage from a safer distance

This isn't true, try beating the shit out of the practice dummy. Most ADCs actually have equal or lower DPS than Yasuo does.

CC? - Nope, any Tank is better

And no tank can match Yasuo's damage, mobility, dueling power in the late game, late game power in general, etc.

You're comparing him to champions in other roles, but not to other skirmishers. If you compare him to other skirmishers you might notice his crowd control and arguably team fight in general is the best in class.

Split Push? - Many other melee champions do it better and safer

But few of those champions have Yasuo's potential backline access, team fight CC and utility, etc. Yasuo is a versatile champion. Compared to Tryndamere, probably the best pure splitpusher in the entire game, he has a lot more options.

Assassinations? - Nope, not enough burst

He has less upfront burst than a Rengar but no, Yasuo can definitely burst an ADC down lol.

Safety? - Nope, no escape and little survivability.

He is not a safe champion no.

Team Fight? - Combo's well but many other champions are still far better

Not in his class. Yasuo provides the target agnosticism and outplay mechanics inherent to the skirmisher class while also having solid team fight CC and utility.

Honestly the thing Yasuo offers the most and it what people hate about him is his Wind Wall (WW)

That's part of it sure.

If i asked you to say:

What would most of you say? - Team Fight / Combo

He's a versatile melee carry who is equally comfortable team fighting as well as splitpushing with a lot of outplay potential.

There's no bias in my post friend. I'm a Yasuo main (even if my ranked games this season don't imply it because he's always banned >_> ). And Yasuo is doing just fine right now.

You can't just compare what he does to several other champions / roles and be like "Since he doesn't do as much as these champions that are DESIGNED to do these things better, Yasuo is weak." Like...what?

Nice to see a thread defending him for once...and I totally agree with what you said

but he is really well balanced right now probably one of the more balanced champs in league... it's just that he looks weak because other champs are op... they need to tune those champs down to Yasuo's balance not Yasuo up to theirs

51% winrate mid 49% winrate top

you cant realistically get much better

He doesn't do any of that better than anyone else. True. But he does all of that decently. 10 "C"s is the same as 8 "C"s, an "A", and a "D".

Yasuo's identity is to be a a pain in the ass for the other team due to how unpredictable he can get to be, his snowball capabilities and his many combo posibilities.

he insn't an adc though? you know who else adcs out damage?Braum

I agree that he isn't OP, but basically everything you said is completely wrong.
