Enforcing leaver buster for /remake promotes unfair privilege

After all troubleshooting options have been exhausted, some people have random times where for one reason or another they don't connect to the game right away. These issues can all be solved by one thing, paying more money to fix the problem. Be it adding more RAM, upgrading one's internet service, or buying a better computer; the most surefire way to solve any kind of problems starting up a game can be solved with spending money.

Therein lies the issue. Some of us don't have the privilege to afford such things. But our machines meet the requirements to run the game as specified by Riot. And looking through the match history, it is clear that 99 percent of the time, we are able to play the game just fine.

Now I am not advocating for any change in LeaverBuster, as that is a whole different issue which, for the most part, is fair and effective.

But if no parties involved in a remade game gain or lose any IP or LP, and all they lose is about 5 minutes of their time, why must those who didn't get the chance to connect be punished with and LP loss AS WELL as a wait timer? If they disconnected after the first 90 seconds, they would have had an opportunity to not even be punished by LeaverBuster. So why give them such a small window to avoid punishment for an inconsequential game, simply because they dont have the privilege to be able to pay their computer problems away?

Both of the times it has happened to me, I was in the middle of reconnecting and at around 80 percent, when the game was remade, and LeaverBuster notified me of punishment.

I have played countless games, on this same computer and mediocre internet that will from time to time give me at the end of champ select, in which 5 minutes into the game a player disconnects or even blatantly just leaves. And in these games I have been able to win without them, or lose because of them.

In games like that, I don't receive any sort of reward just dealing with someone being absent from our team.

The way remake stands right now, the punishment to people for not connecting is a reward to people who are already privileged to enjoy the game better than many of us who cant afford it.
