Bard i have an idea that may help

Hey this is my first post, but i had a though about bard. Ive played a decent amount of bard, definitlely not enough to call myself an expert, but i have a thought that may help him have more of an impact on roaming.

So my problem with part is his impact while roaming feels insignificant . The heals are helpful but underwhelming.

The utility is much more reliable later in team fight when are the enemies are clumped but that is when you aren't roaming as often.

But his ult is where he truly shines. So these are my thoughts on a buff that incentivises roaming.

So his ult has a high cooldown because we cant be stopping time everytime we run back into lane, but when we decide to roam most of the time our ult is on its high cooldown. What if while we collect chimes they drop the cooldown of his ult by ~1 second which isn't alot but after we ult during a teamfight there may be a few chimes laying around collect, back ,and collect again which would save like 15 seconds on his ult if you decide not to go straight back to lane.

This IMO also creates higher risk and reward for roaming, if i decided to roam more i can make more plays woth my ult but i leave my lane alone and can get caught out more.

I suggested earlier that to make his roaming better, you'd need to give him a way to set up his own stun-ganks to be less situational as opposed to a roaming Blitz, Nami or Alistar

I think having his Q stun if it hits a shrine would be a decent change (ie, placing W behind an enemy and then hitting both of them with Q will stun the opponent) at the cost of healing power. Now he's a much bigger threat when roaming as opposed to being countered by moving away from walls, and his kit works with itself a little better

I don't really have a problem with the CD on his ult. I usually max CDR pretty fast on him so at rank 2 and 3, the CD is up most of the time. I honestly think he is in a good state.

The only QoL change I would like to see is on his Q. Basically, I think there should be a small AoE around the initial target that prioritizes champions. So if the enemy champion is standing right next to a minion and you Q the minion, the enemy champion gets stunned, instead of the minion on the other side or behind it.

bard doesn't need anything. he's in a good spot. any buffs to him now would throw him overboard and get my favorite champion nerfed.

a good bard can do a hell of a lot more than a good nami, blitz, or thresh. he's perfectly fine. he's just not new player friendly.

Thing is, it is only a long cooldown early game. Lategame, you are pumping that thing out once a minute. If you are fighting in an area you havent cleared of chimes, with this, he could cast his ult twice in a teamfight, which would be too powerful.

I don't have problems with its CD either since you are not using it on CD but rather wait for ensure a save/kill.

I'm rather disappointed by his inability to defend against minion waves, I think Meeps should be doing 150%-200%-300% damage to minions depending on chimes

The only thing I want to see on Bard is the ability to not waste your meeps by having to throw them if you click creep. I don't know how that could be changed, but I'd like it very much if it was.

He's fine right now imo he's the best support with Thresh.

What about his W scaling of his bonus/max health?Let's be honest the heal mid-late game isnt that good.
