Alistar pulverizes his way through pro play

Because either he is and this is pretty massive for Trundle (also a rather cool titbit), or Phreak is being a meanie. Can anyone confirm/deny with proof?

For those who are too lazy to follow the link, Phreak is claiming that Trundle steals Damage Reduction with his ult. And more importantly, if this is the case, is it intended or is it just another result of Riot's peculiar code?

I'm pretty sure the OP means damage reduction as in flat DR like from Alistar's ult, not armour and MR which is obvious.

Yes, he steals damage reduction; yes, it is quite OP; yes, it is intentional.
