Unfair Ranked Teams Match-ups

Okay, so today I was doing ranked teams together with my friends and after we won a game we went in for another and got completely destroyed by their team. Not only we lost they hadn't taken the nexus and instead started mocking our ranks in all chat. Near the end of the game my teammate looked up their ranks. The ranks of their team were a Silver V, a Diamond V, Bronze II, Platinum II, and another Silver V. This was against our team of Gold I, Silver II, Silver I, and 2 Bronze 4's. And now i'm wondering how the match ups could decide that it will be a fair game to match up a team with a player 2 divisions higher than our best player, and 4 divisions higher than the bottom of our team. It was obvious their team was made just so they could be matched up against low elo teams and honestly completely pisses me off. Games like these make it so me and my ranked team not only get salty, but make it so we can't even play much ranked without getting bs match ups like this.
