Do I have to play every day to not drop back to diamond from master?

I'm just about to (hopefully) reach Master, and I read about ranked decay. It says that Master+ players will lose 100 LP every day when they don't have games in their "bank", and you lose one game from your bank each day. So essentially I have to play one game per day, on average? I usually only play on weekends, and around ~3 games per day, so that would leave me at -1 bank each week. Does this mean I'll just instantly drop back to diamond from master?

No, If you have +250 LP in masters and stop playing then after 10 days you will lose 250 at a time.

If you are at 0 and all 10 days expire you will be demoted to D1 75lp, then decay after 18 more days.

If you are on day 9 and play 10 games, you will re-bank all ten days again.

Yes, playing only 6 games a week will be -1 You must play 7 a week to stay even. After 10 weeks you will decay.

You can see your banked games in your profile, I recommend getting it to 10 every chance you get as unexpected events may occur and 250 lp a loss will hurt a ton if you lose it simply because you didn't want to play one more game.

Rank decay is one of the stupidest mechanics in the game "Oh i see you earned this rank....well too bad, since you had to go do something else with your life that wasn't our game you've been demoted" legit the most toxic mechanic in the game

Basically how it works is as follows

Every game you play becomes a "banked" game. You can hold a maximum of 10 banked games.

Every day you don't play, 1 banked game is removed from your banked games amount.

Once your banked games balance hits 0 you start decaying

So if you played 5 games tomorrow, you'd bank those 5 days...

Essentially giving you a 5 day shield against decay.
