Does anyone else feel this way about climbing

It seems silver is harder to climb than bronze because the players are worse. My first season that i got ranked (season 3), i immediately hopped into ranked after getting 30, and man was I bad. I wont 7/10 placements and got dropped in silver III. I almost instantly fell to Bronze.. The solution to this should be to drop every new account in bronze V automatically and only have placements for players who were ranked the previous season. Next, remove promos. If any promos at all.. only have a best 2 of 3 for advancing from bronze I->Silver V, Silver I->Gold V and so on.. Next give each team 5 bans- 1 for each player-that way it's fair. Finally, provide loss forgiveness or only a 5lp loss for teams with afks for greater than 10 min. Smurfs, Trolls, AFKs, New Players, Bad Bans all ruin ranked.
