Why I love and hate League of Legends
First off let me say I really do like League. And it's funny because my friend PaleGingerAle has played it for about 4 years now and tried to get me to play it ages ago but I couldn't get into it. The graphics were fuzzy to me and I'd get lost in what was going on. I'd lose my cursor on the screen. Fast forward 2 years and some months and Riot updated their graphics and Pale again tried to get me into it. By this time I had started to play Smite. I guess it appealed to me because I have played console games since I was a kid, I'm 37 now. The 3rd person perspective hooked me. But something was off to me about Smite. So after a while I stopped playing it. Finally Pale convinced me to give League another chance. And now I'm hooked. The graphics are clearer, I can see what the heck is going on. I've gotten 2 pentakills in the last 2-3 months. One with Thresh the other with Jinx. And I've bought skins, wards, and icons. So far so good until...... Summoners Rift is something else. Obviously I'm not a pro or can consistantly win. I'm still learning it, A few things I need to point out about it.

Teleport. The team I was on was not doing well. A Malphite on the enemy team would not go down. Finally 3 of us caught him and proceeded to beat on him. That is when my jaw dropped. In the middle of us beating on him he hit teleport and vanished. Now I don't know how many of you believe in the power of magic but in almost all circles Pagan or otherwise it is never a good thing to have a spell interrupted. It doesn't work or bad things happen. When you recall and someone hits you it knocks you out of it. Same thing should apply to Teleport. Someone should not be able to just vanish if someone or even a group of people are attacking them. Of course one of my teammates told me that Crowd Control would have stopped them. Eh?, CC?, NO, a simple punch to the face should suffice. Please look into applying the effects recall has when someone hits you on Teleport.

Towers are unintelligent guardians. This goes across the board. Normally when a Tower is being attacked it will go after the minions before a champion. But if you cross it's threshold without a minion it will try to kill you. Now same game as mentioned above. I'm running away from 2 enemy champs when I cross into my towers perimeter. At this point the tower is killing enemy minions. When they follow me into the Tower and proceed to attack me you would think the tower would turn on the champs. It doesn't, they kill me under my tower and DO NOT get attacked by my tower. That tower should have began to attack them immediately. That is really aggravating to have to watch. Why is this part of their programming? Towers should be deadly, hands down. They are the first bastion of your entire "Fortress." If a warrior half asses his job he dies. If a Tower, Fighter Jet, Atomic Bomb, Air Craft Carrier breaks down or does not function as it should many lives can be lost or even a war.

Mana potions should be always in the game.
League Of Legends is an awesome game. It's cheaper to play(if you're into buying skins, etc.) than Smite, less gimmicky and built on more solid ground. As with all games there are things that the community of gamers feels is lacking within it's programming. Some things are easy to look past others are not. But the above items should be looked into.
