Bringing in a strict Role System into League (Details in Thread)
Hello, Róze z2 is my name in LoL.
Today was probably my 12´th or so encounter on Botlane where I as an ADC had the incredible Luck to play with a "Support" that I will refer to as "Yasuo´s". In normal Situations I would just shrug it off, not care about it nor would I even open a Thread discussion about this. But as it seems it just has been done now.For people who would like to read through my Text I´d really appreciate critique, no matter if good or bad. The first Wall of text wil be about my latest encounter with a Yasuo Support. The second will be about a request aswell as some reasonsn for why I would bring in a strict Role System for Lanes i.E. giving all Champions specific Lane roles, which are different from the roles we have in the game such as Tank/Marksman/Mage/etc. No, what I am talking about is to have these specific roles tied to specific lanes only which would prevent random picks such as a "Yasuo Support".
Also: DISCLAIMER!!! I am not just simply picking on one specific Player in this game. I am referring this to all my previous and future encounters of a Support "Yasuo".
As I have written in my second line of this Text I have just played with another Yasuo as a Support, where I was the ADC. I came back to my desk, looked at the screen and wondered:"Huh. Another Yasuo it seems. Oh well. Lets see how this one does." After the match started I clicked on him to see what he is buying and to my surprise he actually bought a suport starter item. After a quick first blood on my lane for the enemy team my support being the one given said first blood to the enemy, it was not a big deal for me. I said nothing and thought to myself "Alright this can happen. No need to throw in the towel." As a sidenote. I usually dont surrender in games as it just doesnt fit my nature in gaming. Anyways. Afeter minute 4 or 6 or so My Support went on different lanes where he managed to actually help them with a ratio of 2 out of 5 or so. I dont spectate him all the way since I have to actually care for myself on the lane. For any reason, my Support was to never return as I was doing my best to hold out against the enemy botlane which I will call Ezreal and Shen. Of course, this was a pretty much fruitless task, as i have been pushed back many times.After minute 20 suddenly a Surrender vote starts appearing, which I naturally declined. after the botlane tower was destryoed i went back to the inner tower and actually asked in chat "Actually, where is my support?". No one replied. I am actually too lazy to write down the rest of the game in detail so I´ll just keep it short: We lost I went 3/6 or so where my Support Yasuo went 6/ 12 I believe. Needless to say he probably was good, or at least better than me, but what made me rather mad was that he just wasnt playing his role correctly. He pretty much just went for the kill. He didnt really care for defending the Ally ADC or other lanes. He didnt heal, he didnt shield, he just was no support.
I am going to let this text stay just like that and continue with the Second part of my Thread.
This is a request to Riot themselves. I would really, REALLY appreciate you people to bring in a strict role system to their lanes. I am tired of having more of these "Yasuo Supports" and really wish for this.
Now, what I mean with "A strict Role System" is that for example, you will have "Twitch" , a Character designed to be an ADC and very very eventually to be a jungler,(which is just as bs to me if you´d like to hear my opinion). with that saying. he will only be available to play in the Bottom/ADC Lane which would mean that he wont be available to pick in any other lane apart from Bottom/ADC. Now, lets have Lux instead. She is a really strong mage which still has her built in Abilites that can shield an Ally or bind an enemy down for a moment. This would make her having the role As Mage/Support meaning she will be playable in the Lanes Mid and Bottom/Support. I could go on and on with many more examples but this is pretty much what I mean with the "Strict Role System" I am aware that my Idea has many flaws and will probably make the fanbas rather furious, but I am willing to even go this far so that I can keep at least a tiny bit of order in this mess.
Anyways, thats my Request for Riot. I will take any critique, good or bad, and eventually i will reply to some. At some point.
TL:DR? Im bitching about lane picks.
