Lethality Items changes idea

My goal was to first wipe out extra damages from the items and convert it to utility. Additionally, I tried to replicate the mage items by creating an anti synergy between each items, encouraging to only buy one of them. Tell me if you think it could or could not work and why. As always, numbers are subject to change.


Serated Dirkitem 3134:

+25 Attack Damage

Unique Passive: +8 Lethality Unique Passive - Headhunter: After killing any enemy, your next damaging spell will deal 40 bonus physical damage to all enemies it hits (30 second cooldown)


Duskblade of Draktharitem 3147:

+55 Attack Damage +10% Cooldown Reduction +8 Lethality

Unique Passive - Lethality: +20 Lethality [Changed] Active - Nightstalker: Channels for 2 seconds to enhance the next basic attack, slowing the target by 50% for 2 seconds and grounding it for the same duration. Damage will interrupt the channel. You can move while channeling. If the channel is interrupted, the item is put on a reduced 15 second cooldown. Ranged champions slows for only 25%. 55 seconds cooldown.


Youmuu's Ghostbladeitem 3142:

Now build out of Serated Dirkitem 3134 and Pickaxeitem 1037. Combination cost increased to 1025, 3000 Golds total cost.

+60 Attack Damage +10% Tenacity +8 Lethality

Unique Passive - Lethality: +20 Lethality Unique Passive - Grim Haste: +10 Flat Movement speed, increases to +40 Flat Out of Combat Movement Speed Unique Active - Night Rush: Channels for 2 second to gains 40% bonus movement speed for 8 seconds. Grim Haste no longer deactivate in combat until the end of the effect.

Damage will interrupt the channel. You can move while channeling. If the channel is interrupted, the item is put on a reduced 15 second cooldown. Ranged Champions only gain +20% movement speed. 55 Second Cooldown.


Edge of the Nightitem 3814:

Now builds out of Serated Dirkitem 3134 and Jaurim's Fistitem 3052. Combinaison cost increased to 800, 3100 Golds total cost. +50 Attack Damage +300 Health +8 Lethality

Unique Passive - Lethality: +20 Lethality Active - Night Veil: Channels for 2 seconds to gain a spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability within the next 5 seconds. Damage will interrupt the channel. You can move while channeling. If the channel is interrupted, the item is put on a reduced 15 second cooldown. 45 seconds cooldown if the spell shield disappears or blocks an ability.


As a result:

The Duskblade of Drakthar is still an offensive item but will mainly serve as keeping a target in place to have more ease to set up for assassination rather than bursting even more than an assassin already can. The Youmuu's Ghostblade now serves as a tool to stick to a target. The Edge of the Night serves globally the same purpose than it already does, with few adjustments. Overall the items are stronger but heavily lose potential if not used at the right time, improving skill expression.
