KDA is only one part of the statistics taken into account for your score. Other things like CS, objectives, warding are also looked at.
Did you win? Did you CS well? Did you upgrade your trinket? All these are factored in as well
you died twice you scrub. S stands for Superman and Superman don't die

It doesn't matter how hard you carry if you don't have cs (I think this may not factor in if you have the support item), upgraded trinket, and warded well.
The point of the mastery system if to encourage to learn how to play a champ well. Vision control is a BIG part of playing the game well
