so i just played a match that was 40+ min i was zed was fed also but what the hell can zed do at that time i didnt have a clue so thats why im asking here are there certain items you can buy for zed to be better at that time?
either split or tf zed late game is his best part of the game eventough hes suposed to be a midgame or early champ hes trash till the late but hes not that bad in teamfight if you play him good but dont expect to be that relevant you will just burn summoners or items thats it thats what you are on zed a farmer that burns zhonyas or ga cos riot hates you so bad

Zed is made to not be a late game champ. Assassins are early to mid game champions, they are made that way.
Wait and show up late to fights, have your team try to gain vision control, wait til a prime target is by themselves or major defensive abilities are blown and try to get a good flank on them in the chaos.
Assassins arent good at teamfights, and late game is all teamfights. Not much you can do other than wait and hope you get a moment.
While Zed isn't designed to be a late game champion right now he is one of the best champion in team fighting in late game for some reason
But that isn't really easy to do , needs good timing and the most important thing is to never engage as Zed in team fights , let your front line engage , put a sneaky shadow , at best is to use like triple e and q in fights and try to hit as much as targets possible
Zed has a good late game , if you meet a squishy mage , you can just E AA E AA to kill them , it will take only 2 seconds " which is e cd " you can kill them in in a shorter time than that if you can hit a Q Your Ult cd is really short so you can actually spam it
Just play around objectives , hide in a bush that isn't warded " you know Duskblade passive " and do your job
