Is there a way to issue an attack command without moving?

Because there are champions with a ridiculous stickman hitbox that I try to click on, but it issues a command move instead, getting me killed.

Attack move works pretty well for me. Tap A befor imputing a move command. Champion will auto targets when available as a priority over moving.

Can you elaborate on this? There are a variety of ways to get this done. I believe that "Attack champions on click" is a thing, where your champion will only attack champions near where you click. When it comes to "not moving" though, I don't think Riot's gone that far in player-control. BUT, if I understand how that command works, when you stop moving you won't attack anything until a champion nears you so that might be what you're looking for.

Ok so

Player Attack Move Click -> For minions and players you attack unit that is closest to your cursor or closest to you if you click far away from any unit. If you are too far away to attack any unit (this range is not your AA range, its somehow more than that but I dont know the exact number, so if you click on the ground and there is unit nearby then you move close and attack that unit) then it works like imprecise version of Player Move Click, you move and attack unit closest to your cursor or closest to you on your movement path if you missclicked your target or target is lost. Player Move Click -> your character moves where you click and if you have unit under your cursor then you attack that unit. You have to click your target precisely or you will just move as you know already. Player Attack Only Click -> if you click your target precisely then you attack that target just like with Player Move Click but if you miss then you are doing nothing, standing still in place. Target Champions Only -> This is attack modifier that makes your attacks target champions only, so you will not missclick on minion or turret, very useful with Player Attack Move Click. You have to hold it and then issue attack.

I personally use Player Move Click on right click and Player Attack Move Click on left click so I can kite very quickly without precise aiming which is hard when you have high attack speed. This setting messes up your HUD clicks so there is more to do in order to make it work.
