Did anyone else dislike the double cast to ride on Taliyah's wall?

I remember when I firsted played her that it felt unintuitive to double cast her ult to ride it. The only time I'm going to want to smash the R key as her is when I'm trying to block someone off/save myself. Not when I'm trying to set up a play and getting ready to combo someone when I get there.
