Towers used to be even worse than they are now fyi. He literally took 20 tower shots and still didn't die.

This is a T2 tower at 25 minutes vs a champ with 174 armor and a shield that gives him lifesteal
I don't expect much from T2 towers at that point. T1 is to protect you, T2 is to stop minions pushing.
For anyone who doesn’t want to watch the video, he took 23 turret shots, 3 then tiny break and 20 more with only a little lifesteal to make up for it
it's t2g i bet he knows how many tower shots exactly it takes him to die even with the new turrets diving and BM are like his specialities
Udyr was able to tank towers indefinitely with maxed turtle stance + frozen heart + triforce+ a little more armor. I know because I used to backdoor turrets without any minions on Udyr, just needed blue buff for the mana regeneration. Only on Udyr though, other tanks didn't have a low enough cooldown for that on their shield. These days Udyr's shield got nerfed repeatedly and towers deal increased damage for each consecutive shot so no longer doable.

Towers are only there for gold lol just have 3 ADCs and its GG.
People want towers to be a crutch for bad play. They want to be able to turtle underneath towers instead of needing to skillfully interact with their lane opponent. They want to be able to hide under tower and get a quad from a four man gank instead of recognizing the incoming gank and responding ahead of time.

Yeah the whole plating thing was a nice idea, but it doesn't mean anything if towers aren't worth jack shit.
For the last time. It's not about what towers are doing to you, but what you are doing to towers.
I remember being full armor/tank shen (enemy team was all AD), the tower was legit doing about 80 dmg to me and I was regenning like 60 hp a second.
Towers didn't have armor pen or ramping up damage like they do now. :P
