Broader Class/Roles (Like Marksman, Fighter, Etc.)
One thing that has come to mind when I look at the champion list in the client, there is a huge disparity when it comes to the roles/classes here is how the numbers are,
Assassin: 15 Fighter: 36 Mage: 28 Marksman: 19 Support: 12 Tank: 16
The thing is, there are also champions that can fit it to quite a few of these classes, and oddly some assassins are considered fighters (Yasuo and Diana off my mind instantly), and some tanks are considered Fighters (Nasus, Skarner, Volibear) and since Riot coined the term 'Juggernaut' this told me the champions could be organized into more defined classes that somewhat says what their play style is, just 'Fighter' containing ALOT of the champions that exist, some of which don't even fit in any classes to be honest (Jayce for example is not really fighter, not really marksman, and he is played as a poke type champ like Varus currently is played as).
We already have Juggernaut as one of these more defined classes/roles, and to give some ideas:
Sharpshooter (class for the poke-type champs like...): -Varus -Jayce (Eyyy a spot that Jayce fits perfect in!) -Ezreal -Urgot (Unless he is changed into a different type of champ with a rework) -Xerath -Ziggs -Etc.
Guardian (For tanks or supports that focus on protecting, examples being...): -Maokai -Braum -Shen (Maybe? because of his ult)
[Can't think of a name but the mages that have constant pets like...] -Heimerdinger -Zyra -Malzahar (Sorta, his voidlings don't have much impact beyond power farming) -Yorick (Not a mage but he does have ghouls)
Think you get the idea, so what are you guy's opinion on this? Good Idea? Bad Idea? Go ahead and let me know, maybe even coin some names for these groups.
