I wish there was variety to playstyles

It just doesn't feel like there's quite that potential anymore. The variety of styles people have when they play champs is becoming extinct. I mean, there's a few that still have potential, but none that are quite allowed to. The AP scaling on some AD champs is generally toned down to non-existent. You can't quite do the goofy things like:

+ + Even that time I went AP Caitlyn... (AP traps, killed 8 people that game with them. "oh this looks harmless". Got a pooled Vlad too.)

I mean, I realize it's not always good, but it was pretty fun to switch it up and do something goofy every once in a blue moon. It's only a matter of time I think before they hit some of the other goofy builds, directly or indirectly. (AD Swain still works though I think, since that really only relied on his E's damage boost.) :|

I guess it sums up as TL;DR: What items do you build on Soraka? Warmog's, that's great. What about Ashe? Infinity Edge, great surprise. How about Janna, Infinity Edge? uh... okay. (Janna's AD steroid on her shield makes this a thing still too.)
