I've been wondering this for quite a while now, as I am a Top main. I mean if you think about it it only makes since for Riot to make an item like this.
There is an item option for every other attack/defense combination in the game.
You have 
for AP and Armor, 
for AP and MR, and 
for AD and MR. But there is no option to get both armor and attack damage in a single item. Please explain this reasoning :'(
Because it would be built for anyone that uses AD. There would be little reason to not build it.
That would be especially bad right now where alot of top laners are combining damage and tankiness (
ect.) They are already having problems balancing these champions
Because like 
, adcs would abuse it as well in order to gain the upper hand against the enemy adc by countering their damages.
Do you want Zed building an item that gives both armor and AD? Or Rengar? Talon?
How about bruisers? Darius? Renekton? Garen? Trundle?
Do you really want that for the game?
You mean like Atma's Impaler? No one ever build that item anyways.
