Lissandra needs a new passive!

Honestly Lissandra has been my favorite champ since she came out! Her kit and design is what inspired me to become a game designer! From day one her lore depicts her as one of the most powerful beings in Runeterra, but her game play is lacking. She has this style that is all about going in hard and surviving and she really needs a passive to help support that. Her passive currently is just unhelpful and completely useless late game! A little while ago a Rioter was talking about a possible passive rework that would give her some kind of ice shield that would scale based on the number of enemies CC'ed. This idea would be perfect for her! It would help support her game play and theme really well! I understand Riots been crazy busy lately and trust me you guys are doing an amazing job, but champs like Lissandra who are not the most popular could still use a little love .:) Thanks for your time!

One of my biggest issues with her is her passive. She needs something more fitting than just getting a free spell every once in a while.

Certainly Lissandra's passive is unsatisfying.

Bonus: You occasionally get free spells. Penalty: All your spells cost more.

Her passive is only good in laning phase and even then it isn't that good

Her passive is terrible, almost as useless as Ashe's passive. I like the CC scale shield idea, or maybe increase the slow depending on how many enemies have been slowed by her in a brief period of time. I only say that because she already has a great escape mechanic and I feel like a shield might put her a bit over the top. But then again we have Riven and company.. I dunno. Up to Riot in the end. But I think more slow matches her kit and theme more.

Plenty of people have weak passive, Lissandra is fine in the state she is right now.

What bothers me is they release Lissandra...then they release rework Xerath with the passive I feel LISSANDRA SHOULD HAVE HAD FROM THE BEGINNING.

I'd rather see Lissandra either get a Xerath like passive that encourages her to risk AA range or see her procs add stacking utility instead, like Braums.

Her current one is just.. it isnt one. I feel it in no way in lane.

Check this shizzle.

After disabling enemies 10 times (works once per spell), she gains a spell shield. So basically banshee's veil after ccing a bunch of dudes for a while, which aids her all in.

Her ''passive'' is the dumbest passive ever. Why? Because her base stats and mana costs are tuned super aggressively to make her PAY for it. Cassiopeia's old passive, Deadly Cadence, was kinda like that except you felt rewarded for using it well. Lissandra's is just... there.

Yes, I can agree with you on many levels. I as well was completely taken by Lissandra ever since her release and even mained her this season and her passive does close to nothing. A manaless spell every **18 **seconds is far too insufficient to do anything and her base mana is so low it doesn't even compensate.

I think it would be reasonable to make the 18 second CD scale down with CDR. Just my opinion, if Riot does not want to rework the passive that is unnoticeable and unhelpful mid-late game.

Lets see now, maybe its because lissandra is seen as either a poke champion (long range spells for some damage, which 18 seconds is kinda of enough time to keep up the poke) or the champion which uses her claw to jump in, then her ult and other ability to stun, during that time you escape and don't use spells or wait for passive cd ORR you die in the middle of enemies after the stuns and stuff stop. She is meant to be a duck and dodge keep enemies away champ and/or the jump in give allies lots of time to kill and die gloriously champion. Lissandra is meant to dive in and die to help her team land kills or not be distracted by enemy cc, why do you think the claw has such long range AND lets her teleport to it?

Liss's passive makes her a pretty huge bully in lane, but i agree, late game Liss passive means next to nothing.

It's a pain when low elo players don't recognize champion's strength. now the board is over flood with these kinda of posts in gamplay and balance

Agreed. Lissandra is possibly my favourite champ but her passive is really unrelated to the rest of her kit and doesn't seem to do much for her either. Remove the passive, reduce her mana costs a bit and give her something to add to her bulk when she dives the enemy team. Nothing spectacular, as she's already decent, but something that is actually related to her gameplay and feels like it makes a difference would be nice.

guys. she has skill to root, chase, escape, stun, cone aoe and slow and now you want a strong passive! her skill costs a lot mana early game and i think her passive makes her strong enough to stay in lane early game and poke if possible. late game liss can just dive in and massive cc the enemy team, why do you think she needs buff? simply because you love one champ doesnt mean she/he needs to be the strongest hero in the game. If they really took your passive away you guys may cry about the early Q mana cost"its too high i can only Q 5 times in lane buff plz riot"

I really like the idea of the black ice shield when she CCs her opponents.

I was going to suggest having her next spell enhanced after waiting the amount of time, but I like your idea better (or maybe the black ice shield could be one of the enhancements when she expends her Iceborn passive for one of her abilities, say W...)
