Critical Items

This is a spam account since if I post on my main, people on these boards will start throwing out, "you're just complaining because you lost to it" "you just need to get better" etc.

**TL;DR: I personally believe that critical items should be ranged only because they are meant to be on scaling champs, more specifically Marksmen, and DPS rather than be used for up front burst like they can be exploited and used as. **

Can we as a community sit down with the design team and actually have a conversation about critical items being ranged only?

No, I'm not memeing, nor trying to be funny in the slightest. I am asking with complete and entire honesty. I get Riot's objective of them not being ranged only because you want to inspire build diversity and creativity in the game so more champs are played per patch, but are you sure that is wise?

Example: Rengar Rengar using item 3095 and item 3094, if he uses empowered Q on a champion after he jumps out of a bush (which by the way his jump ranged a little bugged and he can just outside of the indicated range but that's for a later topic.) It can apply both passives, the bonus damage off of the empowerment as well as the Fleet Footwork bonus damage (as that is the most run rune on Rengar as I type this) all with one unavoidable auto attack unless he is blinded or you have a spell shield/damage block of some sort.

Example 2: Shaco Shaco passive when combined with item 3095 and item 3094 along with the most commonly built item on Shaco this patch, item 3078 , just like with Rengar, is a combination of passives added together for one unavoidable auto attack unless he is blinded or you have a spell shield/damage block of some sort as stated similar to "counter" Rengar.

Now, some may say, "Well how often do you actually see players build these items on those specific champions in game to warrant them to be a problem?" Totally fair question and on Shaco, not really that often because most go bruiser. Rengar is a hit or miss depending on your team comp vs theirs, but that isn't the point of the argument as to how "often" something is used. The point is the interaction behind it that can be used on probably quite a few fighters/assassins that can potentially ruin the state of "scaling" in this game which is what those items are meant to do.

I'd love to hear some feedback from the community, if you disagree I totally respect and understand you're disagreement I just ask you explain and reason to me why you disagree. If you are a Rioter and are reading this post and have another perspective on this that you'd be willing to share, I'd love to read it should you feel to post a response down below.

Thanks for reading!

item 3085 is for ranged only, and I don't mind item 3094 being for melee's as it only exoands their aa range and that's it, I don't mind putting it in ranged only category. item 3087 and item 3046 alongside with item 3031 need to stay for both ranges for the sake of melee crit carries alongside with crit markswomen. item 3095 is a mandatory for adc's AND assasin's, and should he an option for assasins between lethality and crit hybridization or pure lethality build.

I hate playing against Shaco but I think he's fine as is. Rengar, on the other hand... He should have both his passive range fixed and his passive auto miss if the target got out of range (with a flash or whatever). He could even get some utility buff in return and I wouldn't mind.
