So is the ban system broken or how does it work? Does it even work?
I've never really understood how the system work. Sometimes players get banned in seconds, other times (and for arguably worst offenses) receive no punishment at all. I've seen racist comments, death threats, feeding, and other forms of prejudice go unpunished, while others get flagged right away? Whats more, it seems entirely numerical system and never actually investigate. So a player with 1 (one game) report is treated less harshly than a player that got 7 (one game) regardless of the claims validity. So if you solo and get paired with a group of 4 and all 5 players are toxic, because they're a group, they likely won't report each other, but the solo will get slammed, while they only get one each? Does the solo players even count against them, does it carry the same weight? What if one party is making a BS claim (And yes, I've seen this happen, totally mute player all game sudden receives the wrath of a teammate(s), usually do to a misplay by one or both parties saying that individual is raging)? Do report affect other games, so say someone get 1 report per a game for 100 games, does that equate to a ban? Do the report diminish over time, say you went a day without any report does that count drop by one? And how might BS claims affect this? When is tilted = feeding, or not feeding? How does your opposition reports affect bans, does they count for more, less? If the ban system is meant to punish poor behavior, why are they not able to appeal, why the assumption of guilt (I've even see a player report anyone who claims or hint at reporting them)? Can both parties be guilty? Lets say 2 players vs 3 players (A and B respectably) on the same team, enemy team isn't part of it and no all chat comments made. Case 1: A toxic, B reports Case 2: B toxic, A reports Case 3: Both parties (A & B) are toxic It doesn't need to be toxic but you get the idea, how might these be handled? And on that note, is some offenses more ban-able than others? Finally is it even possible to ban a player if they say nothing in all chat, so a min of 1 and a max of 4 players reporting?
