@Riot; Current state of Darius?
As one of the last champions reworked before preseason patches began, I just wanted to see what someone thought of his current state since I and other people feel he may have been just a little left behind in the changes.
One or two patches ago before the preseason hit, his win rate sat around 52-51% in platinum+ ranked. He was then nerfed when you decreased the range of the outer part of his Q and heavily decreased the slow on his E. His winrate dropped to about 46-47% in platinum+ ranked.
He was hurt some by the preseason changes as well.
The cost increase and Hp decrease to the only offensive item he builds and rushes, the Black Cleaver. I believe the reason for this change was to push the juggernauts away from rushing the item and get more defensive stats first? Can't almost every other champion role get an important core item first? Aren't they supposed to?
As a frontliner without mobility he was really affected by the lowered tenacity on Mercury's Treads. (especially since everyone's favorite item showed up 
) He already had enough trouble when ranged opponents focused him from afar when he is cc'd to death, which is a part of the to champion counterplay yes. But I think when a champion that builds very, very, close to full tank has one of the lowest KDAs in all the cast, 1.90:1 average in plat+, something is off... He has one of the highest death averages of the top lane champions. Jax, Vladimir, Quin, and Yasuo are some that are just a bit higher than him in terms of deaths, not one of them building as defensively as he does early in the game(or ever in some cases).
You also increased the price of some of the items that help him survive, Sterak's Gage and Deadman's Plate. Then later nerfed Deadman's total Hp because better scaling tanks that have movement or CC abilities abused it when it was made in mind for champions that lack those.
I know you guys are looking at Mordekaiser and just recently Skarner, so I do hope you still keep the other Juggernauts in mind as well. :) (i think maybe people in platinum and diamond think garen might be a bit strong just by looking at his winrate, especially when compared to Darius and Olaf's winrate there.)
