Wood 5 smurf's guide to ad/hybrid kayle top
Camille is broken right? Maybe, but shoutout to former pro Quas for showing a good solution for shutting her down or keeping her in check 1v1. I saw a vid recently where he played jax into camille. So aside from the fact that jax is a good duelist and Quas is pretty good at league, jax is a good pick vs camille because of similar itemization early (tri-force rush), because of mixed damage (camille shield passive means less) and finally because he can dodge out on enemy damage for a short time via his counter-strike. Kayle has some similar features - mixed damage, block damage via ult, and good kite and chase potential via q and w. Anyways, here is my proposed guide for ad/hybrid kayle and my reasoning for the build/buildpath.
Runes: as reds, scaling hp yellows (armor or flat hp is fine), ap blues, as quints
Masteries: 18/0/12 -- fervor of battle; healing focused resolve tree

The items are purchased in order dependent on matchup and back timings with the last 3 items being more flexible.
Boots are a good early buy -- you can rush part of triforce first if you want, but I prefer boot 2 before completing triforce because of the kiting and chase potential -- while you might be good 1v1, you WILL end up shoving the enemy in as kayle and be a free gank and kill to the enemy team if you cannot outrun or out-duel them. Hence boots early. Triforce gives you some nice mana and cdr to keep your e up -- without mana and cdr to keep e active, you are basically useless. It also gives you movespeed and attack speed - the best way to increase kayle's damage. Black cleaver helps you reach 50% armor shred with your passive and gives you full cdr as well as some nice hp and damage. runaan's gives you more crucial attack speed and applies your on-hit damage to 3 enemies (3 people losing 50% of their armor in teamfights). infinity edge gives you that 50% crit chance, larger damage on your crits -- so you don't need 10 autos just for the enemy tank/bruiser to start feeling the pain. finally hextech gunblade is there to keep you in the fight longer via the spell vamp and lifesteal -- you are doing a ton of aoe MAGIC and PHYSICAL damage -- so don't buy some lifesteal item that only makes use of damage to the primary target or only heal off the physical damage you deal. Bonus -- it gives both ad and ap while adding a nice kite or chase option via it's active. To be fair, there may be a better final item; I never got to actually test this part of the build in the ranked match -- we won too fast.
Try it out, let me know what you think.
