Solo queue shouldn't be balanced based on the power of a champion in professional play

Just read the sticky.

Fact of the matter is solo queue may as well be a completely different game compared to pro play. Top lane needs to be able to function with low cs/xp because they might be in a 2v1 lane. Jungle has to be able to function with less gold than a solo queue jungler because they have to babysit top/dive enemy top in a 2v1. Bot can pick whatever they want since they don't even have to lane as a 2v2. Mid and ADC are artificially made stronger than in solo queue because of the weakness of top/jungle when put in a 2v1 situation.

Why does Riot care how strong/weak a champion is in pro play. A champion like Riven will never be strong in pro play. The only lane that is pretty similar to solo queue is mid.

I'd also hazard a guess and say that no one would play this game if solo queue was like pro play. If the only experience I had of league was pro play, I'd think this game was terrible. Who thinks a 2v1 lane/ a 4v0 tower push is fun to play.

Yes, Riot should balance around Diamond and above... plat is debatable, everything below is meaningless.

A company should NEVER balance around scrubs/new players that do not even understand the mechanics of the game they're playing.

Meanwhile picked multiple times at worlds.... I'm not saying she's uber-powerful and needs to be nerfed, but that point had absolutely no meaning

It's a disguised complaint about Riven nerfs.

Down vote and move on.
