An Issue with Game Clarity.

So I've noticed something as of late that I finally decided to try to voice out about.

A while ago while watching the LCS, one of the casters had said something that brought it to my attention. There was some crazy percentage that was like 80% or something that BLUE SIDE won in the LCS. Now I understand that "you can't be pro if you play locked screen" but that's not true because there are a few LCS players who play locked screen. I prefer playing locked screen because it allows me to focus more on my initial objective. I only unlock my screen when I need to aim a global ult or something.

I'd like to suggest a fix to this issue of purple side being at a disadvantage. And here it is:

Reverse the map for purple/red side. Blue side moves upwards towards purple/red base. Why not FLIP the map for the team on purple/red side to be moving forward towards blue side base? It wouldn't create too much confusion because for purple/red it would only mean that Dragon and Baron switch sides on the northern and southern half.

Imagine going upwards towards the top lane on purple side and instead of Baron being on the northern half of the river, it was on the southern? Or going towards bottom lane and the Dragon pit being on the northern half.

The reason I call for this is because I believe it has something to do with the angle of the cameras. And I don't think it's fair to anyone, not just the pro players, that this has to be dealt with. There should be no advantage in side. It should rely solely on player skill.

Let me know what you think!

They've already talked about changing the angle of the player camera on the new SR to help reduce this problem. I have thought about a toggle option which would allow a player to choose to flip his/her map perspective such that purple would be in the bottom-left of the map for them. It does creat the issue that you now have to use new terminology as "Top" as it is now would be "Bottom" for someone whose map is flipped.

The problem with this assessment is it's not looking at the entire picture. There are other factors at play, more important factors, which decide which side has an advantage, and it's not the camera angle. Not in competitive play at least.

My concern is this could be really confusing - if somebody says "top" does me mean the "real" top lane, or the lane that's currently "on top"? Anyway, I think they already toyed with this idea when designing the new SR, since every quarter of it has a unique look which will help you stay oriented no matter which way the map is flipped.
