Thoughts about Urgot (ramblings)

First off he look terrific.

His passive is pretty interesting. I imagine is uses similar coding to Fiora's passive. The counterplay would be either run like hell away from him or try to always stay in a line with him which is pretty cool. His E however makes it so if landing the passive is really that tricky you got a tool to reposition the enemy on your own.

His Q seems is pretty much his old E in terms of casting except it has "counter play" now in that it takes a split second to avoid. Landing his Q seems really important as it allows him to use W which is his main source of damage. Unsure if you max Q or W first, either or. I'm assuming Urgot no longer has armor reduction in his arsenal so that is pretty sad, we don't have many armor reduction or magic reduction mechanics. Let's hope that some new champions got it tho.

His W looks pretty badass and has a badass name to go along with it. This is his only survivability tool in his arsenal with the shield and it also allows him to brute force down anyone who gets near him. His main damage and stuff will come from using his W along with his passive. It kind of looks like auto attacks so maybe he could build on hit and critical strike. Or it could just be like Lucian ult where there is a set damage on it but I'm leaning on it being just a bunch of fast auto attacks.

I'm pretty sure he will be categorized as a juggernaut and if so he's the first with a basic ability spell that gives mobility. His E is pretty cool and I'm wondering if it goes through walls and stuff. I'm pretty sure it does because for Galio's rework they explicitly said the ability stops on terrain. The ability also gives Urgot another way to lock onto enemies for his W. The dash is pretty short so it's not that great/mobile. Gameplay wise it means Urgot has a pretty good amount of engage potential or at least catch potential. I'm thinking one combo you got is Q (for the slow) -> R -> E -> W and hopefully they become low enough where you can reactivate his R again for an execute.

His ultimate is really cool. However might not be used too often and seems pretty unreliable unless you're up close. The slow lasts for a long time though so it gives Urgot some catch potential. You can't pull an enemy in unless they're below a health threshold (I'm wondering if this threshold can be changed with stats similar to Kindred E scaling with crit) which means it's only a slow for the most part. This sticks with the juggernaut theme though on low mobility and CC but tough stickiness. If Urgot does manage to get in range he has Q and E provide a ton of stickyness and than put his R on top if it allowing for an overall long duration of CC.

If his E doesn't do damage we can be sure that his passive and abilities would make up for it.

This guy is Tryndamere's worst nightmare (maybe) or anyone who has invulnerability with his ultimate.
