So i just got to gold, and literally almost everyone in my matches in silver 1 (all the way past promos) was in Gold or Plat. (obviously some silvers sprinkled here and there)...now that I am in gold, its just Bronze and unranked people...I checked my MMR and its not anything to off. Why can I not get paired with people that are in my skill ranking? Why does riot insist on taking any sort of happiness away from me?

new game. im gold 5, everyone else is bronze 1 or 2...

Don't you know how the mmr system works? You get carried to gold, then you have to carry others to gold. It's a vicious cycle, but everyone can get gold this way.

Am I explaining this right?
