Hextech Crafting Limitations and Improvements, IP and Honor
Now as excited as I was with Hextech crafting I can't help but feel there are a number of issues that need improvement. Well to start players should have the ability to add already owned champions/skins/ward skins to their loot if they no longer want them, first off. Second I think a trading system would be helpful since well I have noticed a big issue. The other day I unlocked a pulsefire ezrael shard, what was I going to do with it? I don't play ezrael, I have no interest in playing ezrael yet here I am with his ultimate skin. Now I ended up rerolling it but it felt like a waste to me since I know there are MANY ezrael players who would have loved to have it, and there are skins for champions that I DO play, a trade system would benefit all.
IP and Honor, IP the earned currency in League has limits, it's only good for champions and runes...that's all, but what if your the type who doesn't want many champions? What if you have a select set and only purchase a new champion when it interests you...what do you do? Well...nothing, in PBE you can spend IP on everything as well as RP, NOW I'm not saying you should be able to spend IP on skins (heaven forbid that would defeat the purpose) but the new hextech boxes and keys, your allowed to earn a certain number each month yes? Well what if you were allowed to purchase a certain number each month with IP too, say another 4? You and your friends don't get an S rank, you keep trying but no luck, oh look all that earned IP you can buy 4 chests, now you can't BUY more but you can still try to earn them. I've been thinking about it, making it possible to purchase 4 chests and keys each month would enhance the enjoy-ability of the hextech crafting. As for Honor points...why? What does it serve? As far as I can tell still nothing, I saw a post and someone pointed it out and after reading it, I agree. You can't use honor points for ANYTHING so why earn them? Why Give them? What use?
