I can't be the only one that doesn't enjoy how League feels anymore, can I?

No, this isn't a rant about quitting. This is more of a notice for Riot if people feel the same way about League now as I do.

No, I'm not burnt out. I have an urge to play League, to grow as a player, etc. I don't over-play the game. I feel I under-play it now. I thrive in competitive environments. I enjoy competition. The game just doesn't feel realistically competitive anymore. Not even referring to DQ vs SQ. The gameplay itself feels flawed. The way the game progresses...the way various classes, and even champions among those classes, scale compared to others. The game isn't satisfying because you often can't actually play the game. Its rolling over people or getting rolled over, trying to recover until death timers hit 40+ seconds, where the next won teamfights essentially determines the game.

Hard counters that Riot felt were 'unfun' were more fun than this 'viable/nonviable' crap among all the classes based on pure relative power. You could at least build to survive laning somewhat reliably back then and grow into your champion's strengths, even with hard counters, but that wasn't enough action for Riot. Seriously, look up patch notes from seasons 2 until now. You'll see so many things nerfed because they're 'passive' or don't invite enough action. Sorry to say, but unless you're talking about professional play, there's very little opportunity to outplay now. Its mostly "I'm stronger" or not and abusing that.

When you cut out extremes (both strengths and weaknesses), you homogenize everything. This is especially true when using active/passive gameplay to scaling. The best will be the only ones used. Riot's been cutting out extremes, specifically passive, since after season 2, only leaving those they like at or near the top, favoring specific champions being out of the limelight for a month rather than ones that aren't considered unbalanced, but have been weak for years.

This game still has a potential to be great and have another upturn in players/games played, but not with the current balance direction.

Yes, the game probably go on for a few more years, but its all downhill from here if Riot doesn't make a turn-around with season 7. I feel like a lot of people, like me, are waiting to see if the game makes an improvement with season 7, otherwise giving up on League of Legends for the most-part.

Do people agree, or am I the only one that feels this way? :/

Please, if you downvote, leave a comment. If you haven't played before season 5, say so. If you have and disagree, please describe why. Especially if you've played since seasons 1 and 2.

Its entirely fair to disagree, but I seriously ask that you say why. If people agree with me, Riot needs to at least be aware of it if they choose to move forward with the current direction.
