Banned from chat in Champ Select

When I queue up for blind pick I have the lane I want copied so I can paste it in once I get into champ select. However, when I get in and I paste it a few times none of them actually go through but I get banned from saying anything in chat not letting me call a role. I know about how you get chat banned for a slight amount of time when you spam in chat but none of my messages went through. This is just really annoying.
