What Is Your Opinion If Junglers Could Enable/Disable Teammates from Taking Camps?
Hello everyone, I'm a support main, but sometimes I like to play jungle. One of my strongest pet peeves when I play jungle is when my teammates take my camps without my permission. Last game, I had a Kaisa repetitively take my camps when I kept pinging her not to. I was playing Ivern and she took my red buff when I was 1 foot from the buff (Ivern's passive would let her also get the buff anyway after I took the camp). The fact that she kept taking my camps over and over made it harder for me to try to catch up with the enemy jungler's level, contest objectives (the lower a jungler's level is, the less damage smite does), and cost me gold. She was intentionally sabotaging me and the team.
We all know in League, your teammates aren't always willing to give you the same respect you give them. I'm sure we've all had games when you're taking a camp, and your teammate last hits the camp to take it away from you.
What would you think of an option if the Jungler could easily toggle whether teammates can take camps? Of course, enemies could still steal jungle camps, and if the jungler afks, this toggle feature would be disabled. I was thinking something like what was done with Tahm Kench's W where Tahm Kench can't eat you to prevent you from backing.
To be clear, I'm not saying at all that teammates shouldn't get any camps. As any jungler should, I often offer my red to the adc and blue to the mid laner, and I have zero problem with my teammates taking my camps for a legit reason such as preventing the enemy from getting the camps or if the fact is that I'm not going to path in that area for awhile anyway.
