at what rank do we go away from the "kills only matter" mentality?

Its amusing hearing someone say "I got the most kills, so I carried the game" when they have died just as many times as they have killed. My main question is, at what rank do actual objectives become the main goal instead of this endless fighting and killing things approach. It would really be nice to actually see proper teamwork, and I am sure as hell not getting it here in Silver

Never. Idiots, jerks and toxic players exist from Bronze to Masters.

It usually gets better the higher up you go on the ladder, but there are always some people at all points on the ladder that only go for kills.

It exists all the way up the ladder, For example, I was up against this rediculess team comp of like Jax, caitlyn, heimerdinger, amumu, leona. I was Yasuo mid and getting shreded by their heimerdinger.

so later game comes around amumu, Jax and leona were their front line, I QSS's Amumu's curse of the sad mummy and threw up my wind wall so caitlyn and heimerdinger ether couldn't do damage or had to walk into the windwall to do damage. Needless to say we were hoplessly out gunned but we won, and that is one of my most cherished league memories.

Never. I regularly get matched with people who claim to be plat, dio, challenger and lcs that dont understand that being matched down to my lvl 25 skill level says more then what tier they got boosted to.

still like that in low gold. It isn't as blatantly obvious as low silver.

People focus more on CS, and will still occasionally try to dive while low HP to try to finish off an enemy. Most of the time they just die to the tower and enemy because 1 hit wasn't enough. It's where they're becoming somewhat skilled at the game, but greed still holds them back.

Well I haven't seen anyone in Diamond doing like this but I don't remember anyone doing that in plat, I don't know if that's because my mind throw off this traumatic memory or because they actually weren't that bad.

I play the assassin on most of my teams and not because I enjoy it. It's exhausting and I'd prefer something less strenuous, but I do it because eliminating obstacles is the best way to secure objectives and that's how I view enemy champions. As obstacles. It's what I excel at over anything else because playing passive just ends up getting me killed. My style is aggressive because, in my experience, the best defense is a good offense and death is the best crowd control.
