Shaco is crazy weak early game
I remember when he could actualy 1v1 someone at level 2-3 the new shaco just feels really bad he has no survivability early and damage is a joke till 3+ items

Maybe a champion who there's zero room to actually outplay besides reading his fucking mind shouldn't win early on. Maybe that should be the standard, that statchecks and champions not far from that status lose early game.
now hes just a farming jungler instead of a ganking one and he cant even do that well because he has no aoe or damage
no one plays shaco. no one cares.
Shaco's entire kit works around the mistakes of his enemies. He does not need to be strong for that.
Not saying that is a good design choice, just that this is how he works.
