Is Damage too high?

Damage has gone up over the years, that fact alone is irrefutable.

it started with keystones in season 5 then items starting creeping up with the ADC ans assassins reworks then runes reforged again made a MASSIVE leap in damage

after that support lost sightstone.. which they would spend 800 of thier first 1300 gold on and thier actives which they normally rushed after that which are now no longer worth rushing

meaning support now start building DAMAGE about TWO THOUSAND gold earlier than they did in season 7 becuase that gold is no longer go toward sightstone or item 3312

whether or not damage has gone up is not up for debate.. it has.

however what is up for debate is if it is "too much" and if damage needs to be lowered across the board

in earlier seasons laning consisted of "trading" with the enemy champ, going in.. dealing damage.. and going out.. it was fun.. and interactive.. even if u mad a mistake in one trade... the next minon wave u could trade again.

lately however this sort of thing isnt really seen outside of "supports" and in tanky top laners

one "trade" either ends in a kill or someone being forced to recall.

to many players who have played this game over the years.. damage is absurdly high.

but to many new players.. they have had no experience to what damage used to be like

we had "assasins" but thier job wasn't to "100/0 a target" thier job was to pick off a squishy after they traded

we had Jedit Ojanen http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=201128 5/5 for 7

Phyrexian Obliterator http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=442090 5/5 for 4 Trample Whenever a source deals damage to Phyrexian Obliterator, that source's controller sacrifices that many permanents.

So in your opinion.. is damage too high?
