Hello!

I recently played a game as Cassiopeia vs Jax. I think that cassiopeia got a too big nerf on her E. Against a jax or a hexdrinker she is now useless Maybe, if you up the Q / W poison ok, but, now, she just became a really low tier champion to climb up elo. Cassiopeia is supposed to be a counter of Yasuo. Now, I wanna see if you guys can still beat a yasuo as cassiopeia.

If you disagree with me, OK. Tell me your opinions of what should the devs do with cassiopeia. If you agree with me, tell me.

From an analytical/scientific standpoint, one game is hardly sufficient evidence that a counter exists. You just might not know the matchup, or misplayed it somehow. It's also possible Jax does destroy Cassiopeia. It's just impossible to tell from one point of data. Riot has access to millions of games played daily, so they're able to analyze it on a much larger scale. Cass has a very weak early game; weaker than Jax, actually. Jax's autos combined with his passive deal a lot more damage than Cass's E combined with her autos, unless you kite him well. Cass is not supposed to be able to duel Jax. She's supposed to immobilize mobile champs while bursting down the squishies. Her kit is not geared toward taking down sustain/tank champs, of which Jax is partially both.

  1. Jax is much stronger than Cassiopeia, especially if he has a Hexdrinker.
  2. Overall, I think it was actually a buff. Her early game got buffed, but the late game nerf was very small. I don't play Cass that often, but I think she is an ok champion.
