Tried playing a couple of games with my husbando Fizz and the damage doesn't seem to even be close to there anymore, half of what it used to be. Nice "assassin update" That's really just pandering to whiny ass ADCs crying about being one shot.
Try outplaying a Vayne who just crits you for 1k damage with a q auto.

No matter what you say: most assassin had no counterplay. The problem is that now most assassin actually need to set up the assassination and while some of the reworks are plain stupid (they could've done so much more with fizz, even though I'mquite happy that he's heavily gutted, I hate that shit) it was just unfair that assassins had no counterplay other than "don't get in range".
Like isn't the whole point of an assassin to blow someone the fuck up and get out? Now I have damage nerf on ult that has to be thrown from max distance and I don't get good damage unless I auto then wait 2 seconds? That two seconds is enough time to die yourself!
The Assassin Update was just basically widespread nerfs to Assassins

fizz still hurts. He just has to wait (2 seconds) to do the damage that he used to. It's no longer wq into them and e away for half their health while being completely safe. You have to commit and set up the assassination.
Rengar and Kha Zix got buffed, the rest got nerfed in every aspect and some given stupid useless gimmicks.

You have to use the bonus damage on your w to do a lot of damage. It is a lot more about outplaying the opponent with assassins nowadays. You just need to wait to see the high elo players play the champs, and copy what they do. Once you do that, you will understand how strong you can really be.
Because apparently the preseason must be a smooth process for everyone.
