Still wondering how malz is a thing
A champion who's kit is now centered around an unreliable skill, that takes time to stack up, and half of the kit's power is designed around interacting with it.
R without a stacked voidling swarm, basically useless.
Q without E, half as powerful. E without Q/R refresh is half as powerful. And yet E without W is still a fraction as useful.
Seriously almost all of his skills are hamstrung without the use of his other skills. I don't see how this can be considered a well designed kit. The only reason he is even considered strong atm is because of a single line in his W which lets him jungle, or his ability to bully in lane... something which isn't new, it just happened to survive the amalgamation of his AD and AP play styles.
Where as a good malzahar player was one who could maximize the use of his kit. A new good malzahar player is one which best mimics riot's intended play pattern of the champion.
Leave it to riot to design a champion that is fun to watch, but not fun to play.
