ehh. You have most of it right. Bruisers definitely aren't dead. Brutalizer wielding junglers will always be relevant as they have much more early game pressure than a tank jungler will (and with the new Black Cleaver, I think we will see more bruisers in top lane). And I wouldn't consider Vlad a traditional bruiser; he's a tankier version of a mage, just like Ryze was/is. He doesn't really build many resistances so he really just has a lot of health and sustain. He isn't really strong early game as fighters traditionally are (no high base damages or early item power spikes). He actually has to remain safe for his first levels until he gets to the midgame.
Zed is still a very strong pick. Even if Chalice is buffed, mages have to build sub-optimally to be able to stay alive against Zed in their lane, meaning they will have to rush Armguard/Zhonya's.
ADC's going burst instead of sustain? I will argue that this was the norm earlier in the season, but we see now that ADC's are all coming to a spot where they are viable (MF, Ashe, Varus, Quinn excluding) based on the team comp. The Jugger-Maw is a very strong comp. Caitlyn sees a lot of play (she's kinda the jack of all trades, only having a weak midgame). Sivir adds engage and disengage to her comp but she is definitely more sustain damage than burst (her Q?), being able to chase enemies and keep AA-ing is how she outputs a lot of damage. Graves and Lucian are definitely bursty, I will say that. Jinx is a really strong hypercarry that dominates in lategame due to her increased range and AOE crits. Along with her passive, she can clean up entire teamfights. Kalista has hypermobility and insane objective control. Vayne is the anti-tank though she hasn't seen very much play because other champs can kill tanks as well with Crit and AS (I suspect we will see more of her though). Tristana is at least seeing some play and she does have a knack for killing towers (she seems to be outclassed by Jinx at the moment). Lastly we see the Triforce champs being excellent flex picks and are great for midgame and siege. I don't see a single ADC type being head and shoulders above the rest at this time.
Are you starting your meta at the end of Season 4? Just wondering.
Otherwise, you hit some good points on how the meta shifts. A lot of the meta reflects what the pro players do. They do something, and then everybody else just copies them. It would be very interesting to see how the meta would shift if there wasn't a pro league in the game. Take for instance, Vladimir and Gragas. They were very unpopular picks before pros started using them. Gragas in particular would be played more as a midlane or toplane mage instead of a Jungle tank (not saying he was never played that way). Even with Cinderhulk being added, I doubt that sooo many people would start going Tank Grag in the Jungle. People would find out that tank junglers in general were strong with the new item, but Gragas sees a lot more play than Zac or Volibear who are the more obvious choices for the item. Vladimir and Cho'gath became really popular in the midlane after the pros found a niche for them. They were strong before they were played there but in the midlane they could not be bursted down by high damage due to their health and sustain. In teamfights, even if they were focused, they could stay alive a lot longer than traditional mages. This is especially strong when teamfights last longer due to the tanks dragging out the fight.
Some things will affect the meta that you wouldn't think of. Counters to one meta may be vulnerable to others. This tank meta will give rise to the late game hypercarries (Vayne, Jinx, Kogmaw). Trundle and Urgot are in a good spot to support their team. The new BC will help destroy tanks. % health damage will become popular. Ryze and Karthus will become very strong in Double AP comps. (Kayle may become popular again as she can shred with the best of them). When these strategies become more popular, the meta will shift to counter these hypercarries (ie Dive comps and assassins).
