For real. Earning BE takes so fucking long. When i finally got to level 31 I got a Viktor Champion shard and I've been looking into buying Viktor for a while. I get to level 32 and open the capsule and got 4 champs shards that are worth 90 BE apiece. Get to level 33, get two champ shards worth 90 and two worth a couple hundred or so, still about 900 off from unlocking him. It's taking so goddamn long just to unlock a champ I'll probably play 6 or 7 times then probably never again. I remember thinking it'll take so long to unlock all the 6300 champs back when it was IP, if I only get a few hundred BE like this per capsule, then it's going to be fucking impossible now. And we're not even allowed to Re-Roll the shards anymore because I don't fucking know. Great decision making riot. There was nothing wrong with the IP system, but you just had to change it didn't you?

I've come to the conclusion that blue essence is such a subjective point of view.

I tried to make a new account on day 1 of preseason patch hitting live, I played the PBE abusing ezreal klepto with my Westcoast connection OP OP!! nerf.

Anyway when I was leveling the new account I didn't make it past level 12 because of how much debt it felt to try to get the "meta" champions let alone any champions you enjoy playing. The blue essence felt way too crucial compare to the IP when you could roll 3 champion shards into a full champion.

The champion shard changes are effecting the blue essence gain in terms of champion achievement.

I ended up going back to this account which I have had since season 1 and own all the characters, has access to all the mastery pages. I don't consider the pages runes, riot is deceiving you.

Also I had more time to stack the hextech skin system since the new orange essence changes makes pretty drastic changes, while waiting for their "Future" implementations of the orange essence gain etc.

Basically I feel like both ends of the communication have been dissapointing.

The "HIGH POINT" blue essence shop seems like a disappointing amazon day sale or a lame black friday.

Let alone trying to level a new account and feel like you can purchase any character in between leveling up.
