Don't Go Ham. Go Kakuni.

In response to the old meme about "going ham", my senpai made a suggestion. "Going ham? Go kakuni. Ham is too stiff."

At first I took it as a joke. Then I started thinking about it seriously. Senpai's wisdom has never failed me before, so was this a joke at all? Perhaps he was telling me something, in his unknowable way. His deliveries are dry, so it's always tough to tell.

Then I came to the conclusion. Going kakuni. When you go ham, you go all in. No regrets. No backing down. A lot of times it doesn't pay off. Kakuni is braised. It's soft. Malleable. Going kakuni, then, means going in with a mind to adapt.

When you get ready to fight, go all in, but be ready to adjust. Swerve in and out of the fight. Draw attention, but never engage completely. Keep them guessing. Split their team. If they come for you, your team has their back. If they face your team, you have their back, and then you can dive their carry.

Go kakuni, my friends. Commit to not committing. Your win rate will improve in days.
