Silver 1 - Worst than bronze!!

After completing my placement matches and being placed in bronze 3, I climbed up to Silver 1 in a few weeks, and holy crap... it's hell in that division. Aside from the occasional troll/toxic game from bronze - silver 2, I never had a problem. Silver 1, on the other hand, it appears everyone thinks they're gods at the game even when they're feeding their ass off. I can't count the number of games where I have an 0/8 full damage top lane, or 2/20 bot lane. The toxicity level also increases tenfold. If I don't have a jungler raging about top feeding, I have top raging about being camped with no ganks and spaming pings. Not to mention the number of premades you run into at Silver 1 skyrocket for whatever reason. I literally had 3 game straight last nigh where it was against a 3+ premade. Its a rough climb to gold...

It's because you get placed with Gold Vs who have realized that they are never getting to plat, so they troll and feed and are incredibly toxic. I lost all three Gold V promo games in a row because tilted Gold Vs fed. It's not that your teammates have gotten worse; it's that they have no interest in putting effort because they have already gotten to gold and won't get demoted out easily. An indifferent Gold is just as damaging to a team as an unskilled player.

I think best bet is to find queue partners, a ranked team who will try, or just cross your fingers and hope for luck to be on your side.

It might take a while but silver 1 should not be a huge deal. That is if you are good enough and deserve to rank up.

Again, xxx rank higher than bronze is worse than bronze post that I find extremely annoying.

Mo has a point though, gold 5 players play can vary a lot so its hard to know what to expect.

is not Silver 1 but Gold 5 the problem.... Most of boosted people stay in Gold 5 so there are a lot of player that don't belong there. They already got the rewards and they know they are not making it to plat so they have no more motivation to keep going.

Climbing from Gold 5 to Gold 2 or 3 is actually harder since you keep getting the same players.
