finding the jungling exp lacking

i have found the jungle exp lacking, and extremely hard to find the balance between ganking and farming. it seems that even for a quick gank i lose so much exp compared to the people laning. the only way i can keep is to hope i can grab a minion wave. and even with near constant farming using the junglers with less sustain like kha, and wukong, its hard for me to keep up with the laners exp levels 1 through 10. anyone else feel the same?

also you some how have to plan the perfect gank because getting the enemy flash isnt worth it anymore and if the gank fails you lose alot of xp

I can´t agree with that, I main Jungle and in most of the games I play, I´m the first one to be lvl 18

The annoying thing is that until a few updates before the preseason went live the jungle did give more EXP. By running a single EXP quint you could actually hit lv 6 off of a full clear followed by a sweep of the small camps at around 5:50-6:40 depending on your champ.

No, I don't feel this way. The current jungle has much longer respawn timers on camps, meaning that after a clear you've got a lot more leeway to buy items, gank, and go for objectives.

Also, one thing to keep in mind is that the jungle role is highly variable. It's not uncommon to watch a lane for a healing ally and, in the process, gain a lot of bonus XP and maybe even gold - and then when your ally returns, you still have your XP and gold waiting in the typically uncontested jungle. There's also the role of ganking and counterjungling, which figure more predominantly for junglers than laners.

So, yeah, there are going to be some games where you don't have the opportunity to cover any lanes, your ganks are unsuccessful, and you aren't able to counterjungle. In these instances, you'll be at a gold and experience disadvantage - but that's how it should be! In other games, the opposite of the above might occur and you'll be ahead! The jungle has to play a sort of average because of the variability of the role.

Also, I just posted a jungle Nautilus guide with a lot of solid information for jungling in general: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/tips-tricks/WEttfuaj-nautirus-exploring-the-depths-of-the-new-jungle-extensive-jungling-guide

Eh, While I would agree a patch or two ago, I actually have had a better time keeping up in levels, I mean sure I am behind, but the gap is A LOT smaller now. They are getting better, tweaking a bit, just trying to make sure they don't overtune anything.

Honestly, this is all too true. Even the power junglers are still usually behind in levels compared to the rest of the players on the map. Being half an xp bar behind or something like that last season was fine, it wasn't like there was a massive difference in xp even if there was a 1 level gap. But being so far behind at all points, while the jungle also has people perpetually at about half health during the early-middish game? It just makes trying to gank seem like a bad idea.

also based rito plz buff zac kthnx

I'm now always about 3 levels later than top or mid to get to 11, and 1 or 2 behind the ADC and support, depending on how well off they are.
