Step 1:
Knock your mouse sensitivity up by a lot (not max, but by a lot)
Step 2:
Change settings so the game is more clear like character inking, and colorblind mode (the correct mode should make your characters health bar YELLOW/orange which really stands out.
Step 3:
Also change settings that build habits. Like making it so team colors are the same on either side of the map (not sure what this setting is called. But it basically makes it so the enemy team is ALWAYS red)
Step 4:
Disable auto-attack so if you just stand there next to a minion you won't attack them on your own you have to click on them. This makes farming easier it also means you won't accidentally gain minion aggro by auto-attacking a champion when you are just standing in a warded bush or something.
Step 5:
Cry and cry. Your mouse sensitivity is going to kill you for a long time I'm going to guess 100~ish games it's going to SUCK. But once you finally get the hang of it you will see the benefit. You will be able to swap targets faster and react to things faster.
Also consider:
Swapping "Quick cast" off entirely. Some players find it better to actually left click to cast as it keeps them more involved in the actual casting. But others think it slows them down.
Also consider:
Turning quick cast into "Quick cast with range indicator" it is one of the two boxes directly below the quick cast area. It makes it so clicking Q will show you the range and letting go of Q will cast it. Instead of just clicking Q and casting it immediately you get to decide where you want to aim it and how long you want to hold off before launching. It helps with skillshots like Jinx rocket and other hard to aim skillshots.
And lastly:
Re-bind the "on my way" ping to the "T" button. Remind yourself to press T every time you're going somewhere even if it's just to lane. Knowing where your teams ADC is headed is important especially for the support so developing this habit will help immensely as eventually you'll be telling your team where you're going without even thinking about it.
EDIT: With all those above in mind. Attack move probably isn't necessary. A lot of pros don't like it because with a higher sensitivity and accuracy practice they are far better off on their own.
It's kinda like how people say locked camera is shit but pros like Piglet use it to win worlds... huh.
