Is this even fair? Cause if it is, please explain how.

Just got out of a ranked game where I was Lissandra. And in champ select, I see that the other team has Kindred. I'm like, "Oh, a Kindred. This should be interesting. Never seen him played before."

And we all load in, and at around 23 minutes, we are getting our asses handed to us by none other than, yep, Kindred.

I haven't seen gameplay of this champion firsthand, and he is already in a ranked game against me.

And how is it fair that this other person can have a (for example) level 5 mastery on a champion most of the community can't even play because you have to get chosen for the PBE.

Oh, so I have to know how to play against someone I have only seen in videos of the PBE? I'm not saying that Kindred is op or stuff like that, but all I'm saying is that there needs to be a slight delay between when the champion comes out and when you can start playing that champion. A similar thing happened with Tahm Kench when he came out.

That's the risk you run by not banning out the new champion.

I could, but I don't feel like it.

Kindred is easy to stop it's just Kindred is new and like others said new champs are hard to fight against if you don't know there kit. For one it shows on the map what jg mob Kindred needs to kill to get a stack you can easily set a trap or kill the mob first. As for champions you get a warring on what target Kindred is going to go after the jg can stay in top lane or bot lane jg and wait for Kindred to pop up and gank again. If you can stop Kindred early game you should have no problem.

Just got out of a game playing kindred jungle vs kindred jungle, i went 16/5, they went 6/7. The champ is just like any ADC, when you're ahead you're stupid, when you're behind you're free gold.
