why dont we make a mvp for the winning team

You mean players vote for one champion who they consider the MVP?. The way things are it will end up being seldom used, like the honor system.

You mean players get selected by the system out of hidden parameter during the game? Will only end up with people trying to enforce their solo carry act in an attempt for the game to consider them good and boost their ego, and if the game actually considers that MVP material, then the game would end up enforcing toxic behavior. If the parameters considered are not only k/d/a ratio, and teamplay, contribution to vision, or other objective oriented parameters are taken into account, then we will have loads of posts omplaining why they are not MVP when they "carried their scrub team".

I was talking about this to someone just yesterday. I think riot should prompt us to give honor at the end of a game. People just can't be bothered, but maybe with a reminder they might just give out some honor. i haven't seen an honor badge in forever
