For akali, and irelia is because when they are played well you just watch your game be played at their expense.

I'm not really even sure I can phrase it better than that. For example: Akali Tower dives you, what do you do. Beat the shit out of her Die under tower while she negates alot of damage.

Irelia pops her damage reduction You instinctively try to cc her to cancel it , doesn't work... Dashes to your carry and they die.
