Can we make lichbane convert damage like runeglaive yet?
I know, I know, the real problem with runeglaive is the spell effects bug. But I refuse to believe that the magic damage conversion isn't a big part of why it's considered good on on-hit ability champions. I've been playing AP Ezreal since s1. I was quite pleased lichbane was changed to magic damage, but I realized shortly after that not having the base damage of Q do magic was a strange anti-scaling holding AP Ez back. Before the magic damage change even got off PBE, I've been asking for lichbane to convert damage.
It's really all that holds AP Ez back - the stupid disjointed scaling on q meaning he has poor scaling with penetration. I've received tons of hate from the "parrot Riot" crowd telling me it's harder to itemize vs mixed damage, and thus it's better this way (sorry, I forgot that once laning ends (way before carries get a %pen item) that you need to itemize against only one champion, I also forgot everyone who plays melees knows you focus MR, not armour) , and now we have proof that this magic damge conversion is a pretty valuable option to have.
I may be heavily undervaluing the 10%cdr, and mana heal, but I don't think that's something that a lichbane-like item should have anyway, you buy lich for straight up damage, not a bunch of utility.
Can we finally address the disjointed penetration scaling on AP Ezreal? Please?
No, I don't want this stupid runeglaive shit to continue, I just want to fix the all of one problem with AP Ezreal.
